Sunday, October 14, we will celebrate our Annual Family & Friend’s Day during our 9:30 a.m. Service.

The theme is: “Christian Families Building Unforgettable Moments,” Psalms 133.  

Our Special guest will be Rev. Engus Carter, Pastor of the Westminster Baptist Church, Kansas City, Missouri.  Please invite your friends, family and acquaintances to come and worship with you and the CHBC Family.  Each family has been asked to give $25.00 for this occasion.  We are looking forward to another great annual day.  We will dine together following service in the Life Center. 

The Women’s Ministry will sponsor a Brunch for the Women of the church, Saturday, October 20th at 10:30 a.m.

The theme is: “REAL” - Redeemed, Excited, Assured and Loved.  

All women are asked to make plan to attend.

about the upcoming

Annual Fall Festival

which will be held Saturday, October 27th, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  We are in need of volunteers, candy donations and monetary donations for our bounce houses.  Activities will include:  bounce houses, cake walk, face painting, bible quiz, sack race, dominoes, checkers, tug of war, bobbing for apples, bowling, hit the pinata, watermelon eating contest, and the price is right.  


There will be fun and refreshments for everyone.  If you can help please see Sis. Barbara Ely, Sis. Pam Griffin or Sis. Mae Purifoy.

If your answer is yes, then our Faith Recovery Ministry is for you.  Our meeting time is every Monday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the Small Chapel Men’s Classroom.  Please enter thru the Ledbetter and Veterans Dr. double glass doors.
