Carver Heights Baptist Church

·         Sunday, September 5, we will be the guest of the Hopewell Baptist Church, 5144 Dolphin Rd, Rev. Michael Hubbard, Pastor.  The Sanctuary Choir, ushers and members are asked to accompany the pastor.

·         The Quilting Ministry will meet Tuesday, September 7^th at 7:00 p.m.  Please be present and on time.

·         Youth Reminder: Youth Bible Study is Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.  All youth are invited to attend.

·         There will be a Youth Leaders meeting on Thursday, September 9^th at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room.  All leaders, please be present and on time.

·         The Prayer Ministry will resume their regular monthly meeting next Monday, September 13^th.  Everyone is invited to attend.

·         Sunday, August 12, we will be the guest of the New Hope Baptist Church, Rev. Raymond Clayborn, Pastor.  The Sanctuary Choir, ushers and members are asked to accompany the pastor.

·         Attention Ladies!  Mark your calendars! Women’s Bible Study will resume on the 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday nights, starting next Tuesday, September 14^th at 7:00 p.m.  We will continue our study of Prov. 31.

·         On Sunday, October 17, we will be the guest of the Fellowship Baptist Church, Kansas City, Missouri for the Installation Service of Rev. Robert Watson.  The Sanctuary Choir, ushers and members are asked to accompany the pastor.  Please stop by the Secretary’s Office to sigh the list.  We will need to know if you are going as soon as possible to reserve hotel rooms.

·         Carver Heights will host it’s 3^rd Annual Women’s Conference, Saturday, October 23^rd from 8:30am – 3:00pm.  Ladies, please mark your calendars now and plan to attend.

·         Our Faith Recovery Ministry meets Monday from 7:00pm to 8:30 pm and Saturday’s from 3:00pm to 4:00 pm in the Small Chapel Sunday School Room by the glass double doors.

·         We have four Evangelism Teams that will go out each Saturday at 12:00 noon.  We are asking you to commit to go out with one of these teams at least once a month.

  2nd Saturday - Rev. Willie Wilson & Sis. Mae Purifoy
  3rd Saturday - Bro. & Sis. Jerry Nabors
  4th Saturday - Bro. William Allen & Sis. Barbara Haskins

·         The Adult Tour 2011 is schedule for June 25th-July 2nd to Toronto, Canada, Manhattan, New York and Atlantic City. 

Total cost for this tour is as follows:
       $900.00 - 1 person in a room
       $450.00 - 2 people in a room
       $340.00 - 3 people in a room 
       $225.00 - 4 people in a room
